Thanks for your honesty. It helps me get an idea of how I can improve. As far as an artist... Outside of school growing up I have never had art classes, but if I look at a picture I can draw it. Every now and then it is just fun to do. Here is the picture that inspired me to draw that one:Quote:

This specific trash pile was literally right around the corner from where we live. In addition, all that was left was trash bags full of stuff, which not all scrappers will stop for.Quote:

Some of the stuff in the trash bags were on the counter top that we showed. You gotta love it!!! Trash Picking is fun when you do not get the bug infested piles.. Not one thing is fulltime. We do a combination of making money techniques.
This is what we do. We both have not had employment since 2008. We are opportunists and any ethical opportunity to make money we do. Auction & Yardsale Picks, Trash items, Youtubing & Scrap. Places we buy as pickers to resell is our local junkyard (Brass items), from there we buy at yardsales and even lots off ebay auctions at times. From there we can never pass up the free trash to resell and anything that needs scrapping gets scrapped!
Through all this it pays our bills. (Mortgage, utilities, etc...) We do not live home with mommy. We are hard workers.

Thanks for sharing this. We live in a wastefull society. Recycling and reusing your finds, plus being able to support your family is cool. You folks are quite independent and that's a good thing.
