You sure you sent to boardsort?
They pay up front via paypal.com.
I would definitly send chris an email. Everytime I have used them I have them paypal me the cash.
That is one reason I have not gone through them yet. Can you get them to send a check instead?Quote:

Ya I wanted to use paypal but don't have a computer everything is done on my phone.
I'd be calling, maybe the Post Office "ate" your check( if you need a # just PM me). Their machine ate a steel computer switch I sold on ebay and about a month later I got it back with a form apology letter that said their machines ate it by accident. I still have it for a memento. That steel switch is about an inch thick now,,,

I know he got the package because he told me everything I sent and how much and the total. Then he sent a email telling me he was sending it to my address. I may call instead of emailing.
You got the # KC???Quote:

Yep and from Paypal to your bank account in about 3 days.
Isnt there yet another fee associated with the debit card?
You can have paypal set to use your phone number or email for receiving payments.

He said its on its way. I'm getting paypal this weekend. And I have a blackberry and my app world is messed up. And the site won't work on my phone and paypal said I have to have a paypal for 6 month before I get a paypal card.
why dont they come on here and clear this all up?? there name gets dropped enough lol
free advertising deserves some participation if you ask me.
:)
what reason is that?
for them to clear it up means they would have to be aware of it in the first place. I have never seen them post here since i have been on so its not as if they are ignoring it.
I'm pretty sure they are a standard fixture over in the gold forum, maybe that take's up his free time, just saying.
Really? Boardsort is as big as eBay?? WOW!!
C'mon George, if Forum 'XYZ' was talking about VIP recycling (good or bad) wouldn't you have a vested interest in joining in the conversation?? in my mind, I would have much more peace of mind using a company that i am able to interact with, even in some small way..
So for you to feel "comfortable" in dealing with your bank, ebay, paypal, usps, fedex, cable company, cell phone company, and all the others you might do business with, then you feel it is a requirement that if you belong on a forum that discusses cable and different cable networks, that a rep from YOUR company come MUST be on the site to defend any negative publicity, or someone's negative comments about their interactions?
Good luck in all of that.
Like I said, just because you do business with anyone, there is never a requirement that they must have a representative on any site so you can interact with them, etc.
With all the billions of people in the world, not everyone is going to have something good to say about every single company out there. That is why you have to research the company out, take in all the negative and positive feedback from consumers, and make your own well educated decision.
If someone wanted to talk about any one of my business, whether it be good or bad, more power to them. However, if my company was as big as say 1800-got-junk, then if it was required that I be on every site that discussed me whether in good light or bad light, when would I ever get any work done?
That is my whole point, that just because you do business with anyone, is no requirement that they must be on a site or interact with you in anyway, except through their normal support channels.
If you don't want to do business with someone, just because they are not on a forum to handle a dispute of any kind, then don't. There is other e-buyers on here that do frequent the forums multiple times a day/week that would love your business.
SO Torker, which e-scrap buyer do you do business with???Quote:
