I have the pictures on my computer and phone. Tried uploading them on here but am having issues. Her husband passed away and was looking get rid stuff out of the garage.

Alright! I love a good mystery! And I love old cars so I can't wait to see them. If they are not all bent up, I can pretty much guarantee they will be worth more than scrap value. I'll check on this thread later!

If they are the right 70's bumpers, they can be worth a few bucks to the demo derby crowd, even if they are dinged up. If you find out what they are, I cantell you if they are worth money to my crowd. You can bet that almost anything 74-78 Ford & Mopar, or 73-76 GM will be worth something to us.
Lol.....I really have no clue C4, MDG is going to let me know tomorrow. I sent him a picture of them and said he'll let me know what the are for sure. They are in great shape though. Surface rust that's about it. One still has the supports and the other one still has the ambers screwed in. Besides I think shipping would be a little pricey to CO. I don't really have the storage for them as far as long term holding goes. I know they are worth more than scrap, just don't know exactly what I have.
ScrapperNJ --- Sorry, I cannot help on these bumpers; however, I will post the pics for others to see. I would say, put it on Craigslist and ask $??? for 3 of them. See what happens.

Lol...I didn't mean for me. Most folks don't realize the demand for good strong derby bumpers. I bet there's 5 derby guys looking for bumpers within 100 miles of you at any given time. The ones pictured are older anyway....but they will be nice for project cars...hope someone takes them off your hands for ya.

Well, I'm stumped. After looking at pictures for an hour I've got nothing. They're not from a '66 Cadillac. The Cadillac bumper is much more defined than these and doesn't have the bolts coming through the front like these do. I can tell you that there is one rear and two front bumpers (duh) and I'm pretty sure they are Buick. I looked at a lot from 1967-1971 with a lot of them being close but not exact. Maybe I didn't look hard enough. They are definitely pre-1972 though. After that, the government mandated bumpers to withstand a 5-mph impact which meant almost all bumpers had those big ugly bumper guards or a rubber strip running around them. Are there any part numbers on them? Or the mounts? That could help. I'll keep looking...maybe I'll find a match. These are in good shape though. You should make some money on them!

Yep that was the closest I came up with too. 1968 was my best guess. All the pictures I found weren't clear enough to be a definite though. I'm thinking the two bottom bumpers in the first picture are from the Wildcat and the top bumper I'm not sure about. I thought Nova when I first saw it.

Bumper #1.... 2nd photo, I think this bumper should be flipped the other way. Where the license plate goes, it would have a "over-hang" at the top of the license plate area, and be "flat" at the bottom of the plate...... Any one check early 70's Monte Carlo???.........your bottom photo looks right for the license plate.....
It is upside down, I couldn't flip it the right way because of the supports

All the bumper bolts line up with both sets of pictures and the shape is right. I'm certain that these are a match. I can tell you that these cars are popular to restore or resto-mod (as evidence by the pictures) so you should get some decent money for them. As far as I can tell they are not damaged or altered and only have some surface rust. These would be good candidates for re-chroming so throw them on ebay or Craigslist and see what happens!

Thank you Dee! Cars are pretty much my life behind my family. I've loved them ever since I was little. Just so everyone knows, if you ever come across an old car or part you can't identify, you have my guarantee it will keep me up at night trying my best to figure it out. This certainly did for a few days!

Hopefully she'll call me back when she gets the rest of the garage cleaned out. Also picked up 300 lbs of steel and 160 lbs of aluminum awnings.
I put an Ad on Oldride.com and have sold 2 of them. The front one with brackets and lenses and the rear one with brackets. $250 each and they are on their way to Florida!!!

I needed the break lol. I could use the money. Been out of work for 10 months. I can finally fill my gas tank and try and keep it full....it'll be about $90. Then pay the rest of the insurance.
That's what I'm talking about man! You did very well on those bumpers. I hope everyone reads this and thinks twice about scrapping old car parts. I've seen so many nice parts go straight to the boneyard/crusher. It kind of breaks my heart... but anyway, I'm glad you made some money off of them!
