95 F350 4X4 crewcab. 351 5 speed. 385,000 miles.
Why do people always have to compare vehicles? Each vehicle has a positive and a negative... I just don't get it? If it rolls down the road, and hauls the scrap there, what's the difference?
Today I'll drive my $400.oo 90 Ford 1/2 ton 4x4........tomorrow I may be driving my $900.oo 74 Chevy C-30 pulling the trailer I make out of the Ford, next week the 350 in the 74 could be in another truck hauling the leftovers from the 74.......... If it runs it don't matter what brand it is, if it quits it's still a paycheck and/or parts for the next one.
I even haul scrap in my Vette and in a back pack on my Harley-Davidsons.

Might as well ask "why do people compare computers?" "Why do people compare <insert item>)"
Cause we can an it's great conversation as Tater said. If it doesn't interest you, why read the thread? Or if in person, maybe walk away or ask to move on to a different subject. I'm not a "Mine is better then yours!" but I do enjoy at times listening to folks compare trucks, cars, computers, etc. Never know when what their saying might prove useful.
An guest now?

1991 MAZDA b2600i 4x4 5 speed, before mazda and ford trucks were the same, and after mazda stopped using mitsu engines this one is actually a mazda. great little truck!! tall and light and can get through anything. people say "but that truck is so small to haul with" true, its not a full-size, but I also get great mpg, so I don't care if it takes me an extra trip, and two, the thing is a tank! I've had excess of 900 lbs in the bed with no problems. pretty good for a little 4 banger!
last year was a 92 f150 extened car either car dolly or pickup box trailer then went to an 87 half ton chevy then up to a 94 chevy half ton extended cab 4x4 then added trailer then got bigger trailer went from 4x8 to 6x12 then truck died so got 86 bronco to pull trailer now using 93 suburban to haul nonferrous and ewaste in and trailer behind for iron and appliances hopefully upgrading in spring to bigger trailer and regualr extended cab diesel pickup whats funny is the 87 hauled its predecessor to the scale the 94 hauled the 87 to the scale and the 94 actually made it to another person to fix and the bronco is for sale right now probably will scrap out burban when i get another truck wife wont let me keep any toys:-(
