So I just pulled this red ram out my little RAM stash and realized it's the only memory stick I've ever come across like this. http://i216.photobucket.com/albums/c...psb77e7e5c.jpg Anyone else seen anything like this before? Oh, and Merry Christmas to y'all here on SMF! :)
yea its that cheap chinese memory, just like those pesky cheap red motherboards
Aftermarket performance memory and motherboards sometimes were made in different radical colors. I use to deal with high end gaming equipment and most like me prefered the aftermarket look.
I got a red one and some blue ones.

You do? I sorta have to go along with Andrew in the post above and think I prefer the coolish aftermarket/customized kinda look myself. I mean Everybody has seen green RAM but my original question seeks to find (number wise/rarity) how many others in here have seen or have on hand, red ones. :) Now, through you, I'm stimulated even further, learning of your blue versions of non-typical RAM. those sgi boards / parts usually have good resale value, makes good ebay fodder
