the sign is about to be replaced just have not done it yet, got about 5 clamps on it too. I also carry 2 wood staffs if I need them I got the, and what you don't see is a 12 ga shotgun I carry if I see snakes (and yes I have used it a lot)

there is also a tanker bar in the white tube you can not see, the coiled wire is used sometimes to tie stuff together that go into the yard ie frig doors I always have stuff in them, the magnet on a stick is made by me from stuff I got for free and it has saved my tires more times than I can count

This just looks inefficient to me. Why not run a trailer then put all of your ewaste/ non- ferrous in the bed? Doesn't seem like you could put more than 1000lbs in the bed.

The most I have put in it is about 1470 just under 3/4 ton ran out of scrap that day. I can use a 16 foot trailer from the ranch I help out with. But not all of the time, and I ask when I need it and if their kids have it well then I don't. I am a disable vet and on a limited income and can only work about 3 to 4 hrs before I have to sit down and do nothing. I have both a bad knee and a bad back but do what I can to help out with the bills. I do not do a lot of e-scrap but yes I do some. I deal with some tv's, computers, microwaves, and dvr/vcr.

I've got one of those magnets on a stick too. It came off a big bass speaker I saw laying on side the road, done been run over at least once. It's over an inch thick, and about 5" outside diameter, handy as hek for finding nails and picking up

what year model's that truck john ?

if it's a 93-94 I have a Ford CD with all the specs on stuff like rear suspension, tells exactly how many pounds they're rated, gear ratios and everything, by using the axle codes and stuff.

That's a nice wire stripper too..... that's what I need to get.

I am going to steal some ideas from your setup. The only thing different for me is mine is enclosed in plywood so inquiring eyes don't get to see my stuff without a concerted effort.

I have 2 sheets of corrugated metal I put up on the sides to keep small stuff in and eyes out if I need them, they work and were free.

Bear cool where could I get one I have been just doing what I need and hope I don't break it, so far so good BUT I should find out what I should or can carry and what I should not.

The wire stripper is from tnttooling.com it was about $80 something after shipping, and I have used it so much that I have made back all of it and then some. I am able to strip a lot more wire than I could before.

I like your set up. I have been scraping as a way to build myself up after being very ill and weakened from kidney disease. When I got started I was good for a half hour a day, sometimes two half hours work sessions. I had to take a nap every afternoon. I am much better now, the new to me kidney helped alot. is yours a 93 or 4 JR? An uncle told me 95 & 96 were basically the same too.
I got on Ebay in 96/97, I'm not sure if they still sell them or not. If it's one of those years I might can find it. I've been looking, and so far all I'm finding is GVW, and it's going by the model and wheelbase. I can at least get ya that much, given that info. This CD is hard to use, when I bought it was told it was for a 93 & 94 Ranger, but since have found it covers other trucks also, just not sure how thoroughly, because I really haven't used much for other models.

welll, I'm not doing real good with this, on mine I could find door codes for everything.
I'm guessing yours is a Supercab Long Wide Bed with 155in WB, it's GVW is 6250, but it should tell you that on the door.
I'll keep looking to see if I can find codes for the F-Series

welll hek, it was first thing on the list and I went right by it.
On your door there's codes for everything, mine had a payload number somewhere though, I don't see that here on yours, it does have specs for WB, GVW, TRANS, AXLE and Springs though, if you want to know any of those, get the code off the door for them ( it's the number/letter spec under each category)

if your trying to look up, your vehicles specs, rpo codes ect. i have had good luck with this site, works for alot of different models.

Nice setup ! I sure it works well for you and that's the most important part. I'd say a pickup bed trailer like the ones I build would benefit your operation greatly. I'd suggest this before getting a car trailer.

As far as hauling a trailer around I don't like it either......Your truck can go so many places that trailer can't.......Although it is nice to have the trailer when you have to pick up a large LOAD!!!

Yeah dragging a trailer is no fun but it sure makes your trips make worth while
