Like a lot of folks here I save the heating elements out of ovens and sell them separately (or will when I have enough collected). I was wondering about the 4 burners on the top of the stove. What are those made of, and are they worth collecting and selling separately?
As far as I know they are the same as the oven element.

That is what I was wanting to know. I will add them to my stash of elements I have pulled from inside the oven.
Don't forget the elements from dryers, furnace, etc.
Yes the elements from dryers,heaters and ac units with heat cycle are Nichrome. I get 2.00 per lbs at one yard that I go to. But I don't know about stove burners, I'll have to ask when I go thiere.

I have been cutting of the steel ends as I hope to not get paid dirty stainless price...
If your getting toasters,hair dryers,toaster ovens and what not it's best to check the elements with a magnet first, if it sticks it's not nichrome. I found some elements from an electric grill that the magnet did not stick to, going to the yard tomarrow and will get them checked out.
I checked with the yard I go to most and he said he would take them in as stainless. I can live with that, better than tin.
