Does it matter to e-scrap buyers whether or not a PC board is whole or in pieces?
Does the board have to be whole to retain its full value? In other words, is value dimished if the board has cracked into several smaller pieces?

Anything other than low grade boards I would leave intact. You may lose some if not most of the value by braking better grade boards up. I'm sure others will chime in if I am off base.
Whole boards are easier to identify, but breaking a board doesn't come close to what the refiner is going to do to it.
Won't devalue it.
Under normal conditions of recycling it is hard to break those boards, why are you breaking them??? If your pulling stuff off the motherboards then you are devaluing them.Quote:
