First Load

I took my first load of scrap to the yard today. It mainly came from two sources: a tenant who left a bunch of crap at my rental, and a friend who put on a steel roof. I had more than I thought, and feel like I got good prices.

Shredder - 360 @ .12
Al Cans - 26 @ .63
Shred Al - 38 @ .60

Total $82.38

The bonus is that I got to window A/C units this week. I only turned in the bodies today. I still need to figure out what I'm doing with the guts.

I'm hooked! Can't wait to get another load together and beat both my total weight, and profit totals.

Good job! Read the post about AC units, should answer some questions. Don't give up it gets better and easyer as you go.

Thanks! I took my profits and bought a cheap grinder and Sawzall from Harbor Freight. That oughta make breaking down the A/C's alot easier.
