Ohio Scrapper
Hello everyone! I have been scrapping here in Ohio off and on for more than 10 years now. I had first learned my trade of scrapping from a coworker who had been scrapping his entire life. He is originally from Germany and would always talk about his early days as a boy scrapping during WWII. He would drag debris back to his house to dismantle it. Anything from airplane pieces to tank tracks.
He taught me a lot about metals and how to make a little extra cash. Though this website has everything that I have been looking for as individual scrappers as far as knowledge of separation, spots to find metals and constantly getting updates on metal prices. I scrap anything and everything that I can get my hands on.

Welcome to the forum. There is so much information on this site. Take the time to read the past posts either by using the search box or the links in the forum section. When using the search box type more than 3 letters or it won't give you much. And if you do have a question that you are having a hard time finding in the forum, ask away many here will go out of their way to help. Found this site myself in January of this year, have learned so much by reading every day. Wish I would have found it a while back, knowledge is powerful and can make the difference between "aw thats just scrap" or something thats worth some big bucks if marketed differently. Good luck with the scrapping it's addicting!!!
