I'm a complete moron when it coms to IT repair. but after thieves took all my spares I was forced to rebuild my old dell. when it went bonkers the other night. I know what all the parts are so I just kept changing parts till it works again , at least for now, dont know how long it will last. :). but Im glad to be back.
oops stil have some glitches. it just dropped out and went back to my program page on its own. :)
See if you can do a disc that will give you a copy of your operatin system and other important stuff. Once you get that get a back up hard drive ready. You may loose this one to breakdown. Mike.

do you think you can hook a second hard drive to it ?
i think the forums will teach u to build one in 2 day. most the parts where they go are labeled on the board, bust out that magnifying glass. Hope you didnt breaks all the heat sinks off your boards.
