Can I sell these as electric motor price? Should I remove the motor from the plastic housing and cut the cord? My yard said .25 lb.
Thanks

I cut the wire and put it with my insulated wire then sell the rest of the fan as motor.
i snap the plastic square off, and mix a few in with my motors and small transformers. if i put to many in the mix they start to complain but a few here and there they are just motors to me.
Yep, through the whole thing in with motors. 36 cents a lbs. at www.gatorcorerecycling.com
My local yard charges .20 a pound to get rid of them, lol. I'm just saving them up for a buyer 50 miles away.
I am going to try some tomorrow. Always went through the trouble of breaking them up. Good advice here as always.
My yard won't take them whole, but couple whacks with a hammer and they blend in with the rest of the smaller electric motors.
I get $0.20 a pound for those and small speakers alike. No modification needed.
I break off the plastic square also to condence space. The plastic is a waist of space to me. more room in the bucket for the good stuff that acually has weight to it
