hoods, fenders, bumpers from old cars

I know of an old illegal dump in the woods that has car parts like hoods, fenders and chrome bumpers. Already got landowners permission to clean up.
Would this be considered clean tin?

I would think so. The bumpers may even be thick enough to go for #1.

If they are off of any type of classic cars they are prob worth more than scrap. I would look for local car clubs in your area. There is also a big swap meet in Carlisle P.A. every year. I think it's coming up. Good place to sell stuff there too.

I was getting a lot of that stuff for several years from a body shop. The yard would pay #1 Iron for bumpers if they were cut in two (to less than 5' pieces).

The previous owner just paid the shop to replace that part.
