Is rusted metal worthy?

If metal has rust on it, is it still recyclable?

What if it's "falling apart" rusty?

Do yards take "bad condition" metal? I would guess it all melts down the same.

Rusted, falling apart it still goes to the yard in my truck. Pays the same as clean unrusted.
