Should I save the really short pieces of wire from pc powersupplies? Like the ones 2-3inches long? Some are really short after I cut the connectors off. Since these wires are aluminum and not copper should I keep them separate from the insulated copper?

First they are copper and I save all insulated wire long or short. It all goes in the #2 insulated. Thats my 2 cents
I get #3 insulated for the tinned copper. I never bother to strip it, just toss it in a box or two, whether it is long or short. However, I've been saving all my bare tinned copper (from several sources) separately. Don't know if it will make any difference.
Every wire I cut from electronics or appliances all go in one 55 gallon drum and I get 38% from my yard for them with the ends still on.
38% of what? Of $1.00, would not be a good day. I just got 1.25 for my ins. #2.Quote:

38% is the grade they give it. Comes out to $97 a pound right now.
can I mixed the tin copper wire with regular copper wire?
Yes but don't put it in the #1 bucket, if it's tinned it'll go as #2 and you don't want your #1 getting downgraded.Quote:
