Airbag Module
Just thought I'd share this. Guy I go to school with gave me this, he works for Nissan and it came out of a car with blown airbags, and I guess these are one time use.

Thats the module together

Apart, sans 4 small steel screws. Steel back, cast housing, board

And the board. I'm pretty sure those are gold pins, but not positive.

Thanks for this. The main housing appears to me to be AL, is it? Mike.

For what the module is doing I would think it would be plated but I'm not seeing it in the pic's, unless it's on the plug-in end of the pins only. Yea, the cover looks to be stamped alum. Nice little board.

Palladium is cheaper than gold at 1/3 the cost of gold and shares the same non oxidizing characteristics in harsh enviroments.
IMHO not worth the time and effort to chase after.

What would this board be graded at?
-
Yes mike, casing is alum. I thought it was cast...i may have graded it wrong. And its not something id chase, I just figured I got it for free, might as well share, and was wondering board grade
