New from BC, Canada
Hi,
I have been lurking on the forum for about a month. I found a lot of good info here, so figured I might as well join. Hopefully I can contribute some useful info as well. I have casually scrapped some things before, like leftover body shells and parts from cars I parted out, etc.
My main interest is e-waste, and have been collecting for about 6 months. I'm just a small time scrapper, so far scrapped about 70-80 towers, 20-30 servers, and a bunch of other electronics and parts. Most of the stuff I found thru craigslist. So far, I paid for most of the items (not very much), only got free stuff a few times. I'm just in the process of making my first sale of about 340 lbs of boards, plus sold all the cases and power supplies to the local scrap yard. So far I'm hoarding all the ram and cpu's.

Before you sell off everything, we have one of our members opening up buying ewaste up in Canada. Might be worth checking into before you make a $100. mistake. Here is his post on the subject that you might find interesting.
