HELLO , EVERY 1 , from U A E

HELLO , it was a pleasure to read different issues topics & scrap related discussions on this forum which caught my attention to join , its so nice to read all those thoughtful experienced based articles related to scrapping & light jokes that people cut i feel people here are the most intelligent & friendly rather than any other forum .

I am basically from Pakistan ( now most will give a thought if i am some kind of an ALIEN ) WELL :) mostly people working in UAE are from INDIA , PAKISTAN , NEPAL & far east countries , as most of you know DUBAI ( U A E ) is 1 of the biggest duty free port and an International hub for doing every kind of business specially IMP + EXP , and scrap metal plays an important role , doing business or NOT , but , at least i feel i can be friends with every 1 or some 1 at least ?

I do trading in used auto parts and non ferrous scrap , and i would like to exchange views with any 1 who is experienced in related fields

yes mike , i am from Pakistan but work with a friend in UAE , and yes we sell them in UAE , its 1 of the biggest market in the world for auto parts , and what really are u into ?

Very small time scrapper. I do ewaste(computers), collect/strip copper wire, dismantle electric motors to seperate the copper from the steel. I have to say the ewaste has been the most interesting and has made me some good money. Have you looked into ewaste where you are? Mike.

I'm from Malaysia, do you have pictures of your mentioned scrap. I'm interested import to Malaysia, if all goes well maybe we could do business. But I prefer doing business in small quantity (lesser than 25MT) for start which we could increase the amount later. I'm also interested to view your scrap yard/company before any payment and you also invited to visit my company (just to build trust between us) thanks.

There are people in NZ who buy up oldish 80's & 90's vans & utes, particularly Toyotas for some reason & send them to the UAE in shipping containers.
Its pretty common knowledge that they will give you NZ$300 (US$240) cash for a going one or close to that for a messed up (slightly seized engine etc) on the spot.

What other stuff does the UAE want in volume? Seems to me that theres a huge opportunity to make some serious $$
