Buying electronics
I have a full time job that gives me 3 days off in a row during the week, during those 3 days I scrap. I have a 1 ton ramp truck and mostly deal with cars and mixed iron.
Anyway, to get to the point, I want to start buying electronics. There isn't really anyone in my area who deals with electronics. I honestly don't know much about it. Is there any advise anyone can give me on buying and preparing?
With my full time job, I cover 20 or so towns so I am able to pick up items easily.

To much free stuff out there to be buying. I would only buy computor towers and servers. 3-5 dollars for towers and maybe a little more for servers. Just my .02

The yards around here are paying 10 cents a pound for the towers.

Great bunch of links there from Mech. Check those out and take the time to peruse the electronics section. Tons of golden nuggets in there to find about buying and selling e-waste.

First thing I would do with the yards pating 10 cents a pound would be to offer them 15 cents a pound for all of their towers. Maybe even more than that. That is a crazy low price. The yard that I was selling my non-ferrous to is paying 25 cents per pound.
