does anyone know anywhere to sell escrap close to mississippi, have only been saving boards for a couple of weeks now but i have a good bit. a few more weeks and i will be ready to sell and i would like to sell in person as i learn alot more by talking face to face.

It's nice you have a few more weeks, will give you time to learn your way around here, and get to know some of them better
What part of MS are you in BTW, north, south, east, west? Near Memphis, or New Orleans? Might be some kinda something going on in one of those?
a little east of mobile. i can build it up as long as i need to, maybe i will just wait till i get quite a few thousand pounds and trailer it somewhere. good excuse to take a vacation.
I had several hundred pounds when i lived in nashville, but at that time i couldn't find any buyers less than a tractor trailer load. I gave it to a recycler in the city, and while we were unloading it a dockworker helping said i coulda taken it to a place in Atlanta, and the price at that time woulda just about paid for the trip ; )
Last I knew Dee was saving her boards to make a trip to one of the FLA. buyers.
cool will check it out, maybe hit the don garlits drag raring museum. stopped once before and it was great, lots of nice cars, and i got to meet big daddy himself. he was just pulling a early 40's?lincon limo out of the restoration shop,great guy talked as long as i had questions.
Im in Panama city, we could arrange to meet in the middle some where or I could come get them, but you have to have enough to make the trip worth while. I will pay prevailing rate minus transport cost.
