I would guess it was from the inside of some kind of battery charger or some heavy duty electrical device. Nice peices of copper by the way

ahh i thought it was copper but its magnetic !!!!!! so i got no idea it came out of an rca spliter
Hmmm..must be copper plated steel...I've come across some wire like this...i hate that carap..could have mentioned it was magnetic.....apologies...gl man
that was the whole point of not saying it was magnetic just to asee if every one thought the same as me :-) thanks for the replies guys
