New guy

I have always been an avid recycler and then found that scrapyards paid for scarp so now I have scrap barrels in my garage for stuff that used to go in the trash. Every few months I take a ride to a yard and get a little more than gas money but it keeps it out of landfills. I suspect that as I read on this forum I will come across stuff I scrapped as light metal but that I would had gotten more for if I had broken it down.
