mag light

I had this mag light that broke and after several attempts to fix it I gave up and scrapped it. Does anyone know what this is made of, it was part of the on/off button and it has that cloudy white look of silver that silver contacts have. It feels too hard to be aluminum and doesn't look like stainless:

Scratch it with a brass key...I'm pretty sure they're aluminium

Honestly I'm not sure, but, I'd be very surprised if that's silver. I agree with Mulden, I think this is probably aluminum

I don't know if you realized it but an actual Maglight has a lifetime warranty, kinda like a Zippo.
