Try these places for scrap

Places frequented by older people, or old ladies.

My girlfriends mom owns a womens-only workout club, and my girlfriend works there. I asked her mom if I could put up a sign for old electronics. She said sure, so my girl made me a sign and posted it on the "community" board. It's a quarter of a page and she made a colorful background for it so it pops out. Simply says:

Got old junky electronics?
Looking to get rid of them?
Call Kyle @ (numbernumbernumbernumbernumberetcblahblah).
ex: TV's, VCRS, Computers...anything with a power cord.

Well, the ladies always ask about "this guy, is he legit, what does he do". She tells them "Thats my boyfriend. He takes old electronics, takes them apart, and recycles them for parts or whatever."

I've gotten a few phone calls, mainly they bring in items for her to bring home to me (obviously this wouldn't be an option for everybody).

It's just a thought for anybody looking for free advertising.

I've also gotten pleanty of items that are above scrap value, people just didn't want them.

Good idea...now I am off to find a girlfriend!

I dont know about all of you but anyone who knows me knows that i do scrap metal. they not only save everything for me but if they see something on the road or at work etc they will either pick it up for me or text me a location. GET THE WORD OUT. People will help you!!

That's what I say, act like a politician, shake hands and pass out cards, just don't BS them to death.

gotta remember at the end of the day we are keeping things out of the landfill and putting money in our pockets. so yall are doing the world a favor!

I'm off to find a job as a receptionist in a ladies only gym. I knew there had to be a way I could take my scrapping to the next level.

My granparents always see stuff for me and then they tell me about it. I just got a grill, a bike, and another 100 pounds from them.

I've loved the same woman for the past 25 years. Unfortunately, my wife found out! (J/K)
