i have an old elecrtic radiator and its most likely unsafe to use . . i believe its oil filled if i drain the oil do you guys think theres copper coils or anything like that i have searched the threads and come up with nothing . if nothing ill drain it and throw it in shred. have you guys every scraped this? thanks in advance guys
I've had several. I always just threw them on a load of Light Iron. I don't remember draining them but that doesn't mean your yard wouldn't require draining. Just remembered - I've got a couple old ones out on my #1 Iron pile right now.

No, not in these. I don't think copper is used for heating. I wish, though.
Theres no copper heating element in them. Hide it in your shredd pile when you take it in don't drain it unless its required. Extra weight is extra weight and if you are worried about pollution trust me the yard already has enough oil in it I am sure.
