Cricket Clubs I meant - sure I get the yoke off , then comes the club no need to bust up a tv but usually the gas comes out .they can be twisted off but you have a big square circuit board at the end , once you Crack off a yolk it gets rid of the shock hazard I found any way , some times i find it more a danger when you take a tv apart slow trying to pry off gently and wiggling cause the longer you take the more time you are near it to get a shock or bust a tube , I seen on Utube a way to ground a tv to defuse it . but for me i have no need as i am not repairing a tv so I cut the red wire pop the end of the yolk till it cracks , & found it is safe
I hold my breath as i do this work for the 30 seconds it takes me.
then i put the back panel back i bring it to a municipal building that takes the tvs . we don't have a good will , salvation army will also take them.
