CU future
As i see new appliances have WAY less copper then the models previous, cherry picking copper as can be done now will come to a conclusion some day . Once that happens what ever juicy copper is still around will be guarded once it is time to recycle it .
Then finally all the whacked pricing we see with Copper Bullion like 16 oz (1 lb) at $14 will be the new reality - I am not saying for sure this is the future But I see the possibility just based on the fact once you can't find it for free it will then have higher value How could it not.
AS long as humans stay industrious copper will always be needed it is superior for the purpose it is used for .

One of the stories on the news around here has been how often appliances start fires so maybe we will see the aluminum go back to copper in them at some point.

Couldn't agree with you more copperhead...another thing to note is that the population is only going to continue to rise...simple supply n demand... i however dont know if i could hold onto thousands of lbs of CU over the next 10 to 25 years.....I haven't scraped too many new appliances but there definitely is a difference...I applied this same theory to the price of precious metals in the future..more ppl on planet earth equals higher prices for precious metals...ok kinda vague but u get the picture..hell copper could be one eventually

yea but the new appliances will not last as long, as the old ones so you will get more of them! LOL
