I just jumped in the scrap biz in an effort to help make ends meet in this disastrous economy. To date, I have been checking dumpsters, driving behind malls and looking for scrap on the road and old abandoned properties. If I pull 100 a day I am happy, but I like the hunt and being outdoors,so looking for ways to up my game and perhaps taking it up a notch is welcome. Best locations;times;types of metal, etc.. Greatly appreciated!!!!!!
Welcome aboard from another local scrapper. Best advice I can give you right now is dont throw the computers and related items int he shred pile. If you dont want to take the time to break them down ill buy them from you. Also if you want to scrap out tv's and computer monitors for the copper. goodwill will take the glass free so you donthave to pay to have them disposed of.
