I've searched the site but can't seem to find the answer and I hate going to that "other" forum! My question is how long will bare bright copper stay bare bright once it's stripped? Someone told me I don't have long before it oxidizes but I never thought to ask how long. I have a bunch to strip but want to hang onto it until the price goes up. Thanks for the help.
I've got some (actually a couple hundred pounds) that's been sitting in my garage for over a year. I'd say if you keep it cool and dry, it should be ok for quite a long time.

That's a good question. I started hoarding copper when the price fell to under $4.00 the price very quickly fell to the lower $3 range.Quote:
