Red Brass VS. Bronze
Yellow brass is easy to identify. My question is how to classify metals with varying shades of brown in them up to dark reddish brown copper? I know bronze is 90% copper and 10% tin or maybe some other metal. I work in an industrial boiler plant and I am familiar with bronze bodied valves and bronze pump parts. If a piece of metal is any shade darker than typical yellow brass,what is it considered?
