Driving around for scrap this darkened eve

I never saw it coming
My sights were set too low
Instead of watching up high
I was eyeing scrap lying in the snow

I had just put on my high beams
To take a closer look
At something that was shiny
When all of a sudden I hear BABOOM!

I looked in my mirror
Thinking ''What the heck was that?????''
When in the road I saw
Three deer looking kinda ticked

My eye on the one deer down

Preparing for the worst
I get out of the truck

But when I turned the light on
