yes they do
Mine doesn't...Call your yard and double check.
mine do but as contaminated if I dont take the copper part out and pay less so I always break them apart and pull the little copper/steel piece out and get about 15 cents more per pound that way.
We just throw ours in with our small transformers and small motors from the cd/hard drives, we just cut off the outer plastic guard.
whole fans we buy at $.15/lb, if you remove the outerplastic guard we pay $.22/lb
I find they are also handy for personal cooling fans. Here in Florida it don't just get hot it stays hot! I have a computer fan under my garden bar to keep me cool.
They are also great for cooling my amp. stack. I don't jamb to just one stereo I jamb to 3 amps hooked up to 8 speakers. The amps. get pretty hot so two fans help to keep the party going. This could have something to do with my hard hearing.
^^^ Ditto Joe!
Here in Australia summer can reach mid to high 40's (45 degrees celcius) we use them when camping. I made 4 (1 for me - wife, and kids) they are the 100mm (4 in) ones hooked onto old camera tripods I scrapped, and hooked up to 12v cells from a UPS.
They use sweet FA power, and we can run them all off one battery for 4 nights no worries :)
Oh...they are quiet too. Last trip I used 2 extra ones, and some harddrive magnets to attach a pull and a push to either end of the tent fly mesh... FREE air con!!
