nice, what did the cast Al come from? that must have been a large load

All the cast came from ballast casings from the entire lighting system of a rec center. Since I do most of my scrapping in western Nebraska I had to find a way to get this entire load in my car, which I did, and 8 car batteries!

What were they paying for shred today...ALL Recycling is down to $175.

KZ, Simms is currently at $200. Always a bit of a hassle but worth it.

Thanks Recycle This...I wonder why ALL is so low this week, they were $195 last week.

I was at Atlas yesterday, it had been awhile, I was surprised to see they no longer accepted walk up customers. I can understand their reasons for doing so, I am sure it presented a hassle and in increased volume of stolen metal. I always thought street level recycling really put a lot of material back in the system that would have gone into the landfill. Maybe there can be away to interact with those recyclers with a roaming truck that targets those neighborhood and buys on the spot,cash? Got paid great for my 97 Ford Exploder cats...$80 for the pair,one had honeycomb degradation to boot.
