Hello.
hello everyone.
im not very sure where to start, but im sure its obvious that im new here. ive been reading through a good portion of this site for the past few days and ive already learned countless amounts of information, i have to say its a very good community and its great to see people from across the country supporting each other in what seems to be a very profitable business or hobby. honestly ive never sold one piece of metal to a scrapyard yet, or even collected any, however i do plan on doing so VERY soon after reading the very informative posts on this site. i finally decided to register and will hopefully be able to learn a lot here, and maybe eventually pass the acquired knowledge onto others.
Thanks a lot everyone!

Welcome to the Forum. First order of business - get a magnet.

of course, to tell you the truth i walked around my house kind of experimenting with ferrous/non-ferrous metals. my brother looked at me like i was crazy, until i showed him this site and the price listings for the local yard. i saw the dollar signs flash in his eyes, like they did mine. :)
