A few things I pulled from the trash at work but most of the items I grabbed from the curb. No idea at what weight I'm looking at since I don't have a proper scale. Hopefully it gets me a few bucks though. The yard I will be going to is on my way home from work so it doesn't require burning anymore gas or dealing with more rush hour traffic than I normally would which is nice, not sure what they are paying for steel though.
here it is between $10 & $12 per hundred righy now depending on what you got.
That's about what I was expecting. Obviously I'm not really concerned about bringing in a big payday lol. I'm sure for most on on here my haul for the week is less than impressive, but I gotta say it felt good loading my little truck for the first time and I'm sure it will feel even better once it's empty again and I have a few more dollars in my pocket.
just depends on what you take in. I took a load in one time that was small but HEAVY different types of mechanical equipment. everyone looked at me like I was crazy but walking away with a few hundred dollars felt good.Quote:

Im willing to bet this time tomorrow your be like. "I got the bug now" Once that free money hits the pocket its hard to stop. The last 3 months light iron has been at $13.25 per 100 for me
its $195 a ton here in colorado.

Hahah I know this feeling. Heck just Sunday we took my wifes car to a friends house to watch the Texans play, and before we got out of the apartments, I had already turned around to get my truck for a BBQ grill, table and few dvd/vcr players.Quote:

Nah there was no negotiating. I asked him what he was paying and he just put it out there, "$130/ton and not a penny more". He made it very clear there was no wiggle room lol
