This volatility is killing me. Today I spent my whole day in meetings with my buyers who wanted to cut my pricing and my sellers who want to increase their pricing. I gave some serious thought to buying an Uzi and shooting them all.
Really though, this has to stop soon, doesn't it????
If you can't tell I have had a rough day. Now its time for a nice beer and a warm bed.
I have an AK47 with a 40 round clip will that help? When people speculate in any market volitility always follows. And with the ammount of speculation world wide in all markets I cant see anything settling down for some time. A strong constant rise in the gold market up to 2000 spread over the next 90 days would benice though.

My life experiences are not in buying scrap from America. But from what my bosses tell me in China, they say that price and quality are not so important as profit.
My bosses always say that they are more concerned with Chinese customs taxing the hell out of them than the prices of European or American scrap.
They will only allow me to buy mixed metal as this is their best shot to get non-ferrous metals into China in a "hidden" way.
I am looking to meet contacts for long-term relationships as 2012 will be a big year for China for importing goods. China Exports are not where the money is anymore. Domestic Economy is growing well.
So, if you do buy an uzi you can use it then sell it as scrap maybe......... At least the used casings.

Big surprise there, I gotta tell ya. :rolleyes: I just can't believe that china :rolleyes: is not concerned with quality. :rolleyes: I hope you see that contained within that sentence lies a big part of the problem.
Btw, if you were the only buyer I had access to I'd quit scrappin.
