Jig I made for slitting copper pipe

I have approximately 1000 lbs of this heat exchanger tubing that has an aluminum insert running through the length of it.

The manufacture crimped the outer copper shell to hold the insert securely in place, you can not push it out. I have to slit the pipe on one side then spread it open.

Once the pipe has been slit open on one side using the table saw with a carbide blade and the special jig I made for pushing the copper through.

I use the tool you see in the anvil to open up the copper pipe to remove the aluminum insert, each section of copper pipe weighs + or - 0.95 lbs.
