finally
After about a two month dry spell with the garage sales, I did pretty decent this past weekend. I ended up with a nice contact that does estate sales, and I got some nice goodies at another sale.
I bought a small lot of beer tap handles for $20. I broke it into 3 lots for E-bay and 2 of the lots are currently at $50 total. The third lot has yet to have a bid, but there are 3 days left on the auction. I also bought a brass elephant cane head for a dollar just because I knew I could get at least $2 for it in scrap brass. That is currently at $10. One more item was a fairly heavy brass valve/gauge that is easily over 2 pounds. I paid a doller for it and it now sets at $15 on e-bay. $22 investment currently at $75 with 3 days to go. It's about time.

My sales that end on Sunday including some software I had setting around that I never use.

Not as good of luck today at the sales. I got some advance Christmas shopping done and found 2 computer towers for $3 each. Oh, and a nice hunk of brass for 50 cents. I think it is close to 2 pounds.

That link is for your profile. We can not see any of your listings.

I am surprised your frontpage is selling for $100. I thought people stopped using that a long time ago.
I also liked your elephant cane handle. Seen lots of them, but never one like that.

yeah, apparently they still use it. Good for me.
Well I went out this morning to get some gas in the car and some rum for watching football this afternoon. I checked Craig's list before I went and jotted down the address of another garage sale that was in the direction I was headed. I ended up getting 3 computer towers and a box with some hard drives, power supplies, a motherboard and a couple CPUs for $20 total. I went on my way and saw another sign for a sale. I get to the house and it was apparently yesterday. They had everything on the curb. I pulled a printer, an air purifier, and bingo, another computer tower. All from the curb. I proceeded to get the rum and the gas and on the way home I saw another sign for a sale. I went to it, and I ended up with 2 boxes of computer parts for $12. There were 3 motherboards, some heat sinks, a couple cpus and a fistfull of RAM along with more power supplies, cords, and an assortment of drives and hard drives.
Glad I volunteered to make the rum run.
