I just read that I should introduce myself, so here goes.
My full time job is with computers. It has been for 15 years.
My part time job is amazon and ebay. Since I am always looking to find new things to sell I noticed that motherboards were worth a bit of money. That got me started in recycling computers.
I have a contract with 4 companies to recycle their computers and more on the way. I have 60 computers waiting to be processed and more to pick up. Overwhelming for evenings, sometimes you should be careful what you wish for.
The industrial screwdrivers were my best investment! The next thing I need is a trailer!
Scrap metal was just a byproduct that turns out to be worth a lot of money. Scrap wire is worth more then I thought it would be and it adds up fast. Now I find myself looking for everything... brass, copper, cast iron, wire, batteries... Like I needed another hobby!
We are looking for a bigger place.... :o

Welcome. Sounds like you'd be in a good spot to get into e-scrapping. I think that's more involved than for just a hobby though.
