Need some advice...
From some regulars.. I have mentioned that I actually scrap very little, and most of my material comes from the warehouse I work in...
That being said my supervisor comes to me this morning letting me know I will have another skid of electronics in a week or so, and about two truck loads of scrap in 2-3 weeks...
Then he shows me this huge skid they need moved and would be to much. / to big of material to put in the dumpster, sever hundred pounds (I first estimated 1200+) mostly wood :-/
Now I maybe able to dump this at one of the yards around here, but I don't think the small amount of metal that I would have to remove from the wood would be worth my time...not to mention the huge amount of space it will require to break down..
My question is would you guys remove this junk as a favor considering the material I have gotten in the past and will get in the future, or walk away from it ...I really don't think it will affect my getting more scrap metal later on...
Or should I say ok I can haul it off for $xx and pay to dump it ., wich will save them dumpster space....idk hmmm??
Opinions?

Forgot to mentioned, the metal attached to the wood are blades (they are cut dies for boxes) possibly stainless
Idk yet,

NO!! For me, wood is expensive to get rid of. My landfill charges $7 a hundred pound. Every time I've tried to estimate weight of wood, I've been WAY low. If it's treated (pallets are), don't burn it as it might be the older, toxic, treatment.

I look at most situations like that as a cost of being in the scrap business. I've even cleaned entire buildings just to get their scrap, and keep getting their scrap in the future.

Thanks for the inputs guys, dherik that's kinda what I'm thinking. These guys give me first crack at any scrap that comes out this place , so I hate to tell him that I can't take something...even if I really can't use it.. have done it in the past no problem...but this situation is different..it quit a lot of wood, not worth my time sorting and removing the metal blades, and I'm not really sure I could dump it :-/ guess im gonna walk away from it, I will probably just volunteer to come in a clean it out into the dumpster.
