That does look pretty simple, but what would also be cool, if it showed you how to built it. I know it is two blocks of wood, a 1 screw and some sort of metal place, but cant see how the screw and metal plate is installed.
Its one block of wood with a notch cut into it. there is a hole in them just big enough for the wire. The plate is actually a razor blade. The blade goes over the copper, but just cuts off the insulation. The screw just holds the razor blade at the desired height.
The thing holding the block of wood is just a c clamp correct?
Could something like that be used for all types of wire? Granted need to have a few different blocks with different sized holes, but still.

I'm just assuming that raising or lowering the the screw "should" raise or lower the angle of the razor blade??? Haven't tried one yet, that's why I'm asking,,
