WOW That is sweet Shipps.
That's all???? What prices are you getting for aluminum breakage, steel, cast alum, etc.??
total was after i paid the college. 62 cents a pound for cast, 15 cents a pound for breakage, 72 cents a pound for 6061 alum., 8 cents a pound for carbon steel
$565 isn't a bad percentage. Good job
thanks, heres usually what we get: car parts, welding rod stubs, shot grit, slag, copper and brass MIG tips, acetylene and C-25 tanks with nice brass fittings, broken welding machines and cutting torches/gas regulators, stainless and nickel alloy pipe, steel pipe, thousands of feet of welding cable, miscellaneous carts and tables/chairs, car batteries by the pallet, 1/4" steel plate sections and pipe sections (from the students practice welds) averaging 5-20 lbs a piece at least 200 thrown in our bin a day, broken air compressors, broken bench grinders, any broken machinery or power tools, we never know what theyre gonna throw at us but its great
Nice man. That is one good haul!
