New Dude
Hello I am from Missouri and new at scrapping. This started cause I was robbed and I need to make some cash on the side to replace the stuff that was taken. I am in sales and sales are down so I am scrapping now on the side. I have not been to the scrap yard yet to cash in and I will make my first trip next week. I am surprised at how much stuff I am finding in a short period of time just on my ride home from work and fitting it in my minivan. I just hope its worth it. I am in the works of separating my stuff. I have no idea what I am doing yet but we will see.

Welcome to the forum. It's good that you already know to separate your items, I am fairly new to scrappers, about 2 years, but I do very very little. My first couple runs to the yard unwashed clueless. If your yard is like mine you will meet some helpful folks who don't mind lending a new guy some advice. Good luck!
BTW.. first time that comes to mind. Cut the cords of of everything before you scrap it. Might seem.like common knowledge but that's how clueless I was LOL :-)
