Electronic Component Recycling
My company is a spare parts management facility for a large telecom company. We have been selling excess electronic component material of theirs for close to 15 years, and have now decided to look into the recycling value of close to 600 tons of electronic component material. it is all board level electronics ( resistors, capacitors, ICs, relays et..) Almost all of this material is pre 2000, and we are aware that a fair quanitity of it will produce yields of precious metal. We have identified a portion of this material as having a potential for high precious metal yields, but would like to get a better idea of their value before we select samples to send out to e recycling outfits. We have been using chatGPT to analyze components for metal yield, but don't really trust the results. There is no way to obtain data sheets for all of these in a timely manner, and we have about 4 months to disperse of this material. Can anyone suggest an online method of detrming metal yields for electronic components other than chatGPT ?
