Newb here, -Southern In
Hey guys, I've been lurking the forums here for a while and finally got around to making my account, I'm looking to get into the scrapper life style, it seems fun and the idea of not having a boss sounds golden.
That being said, I don't have a lot to start out with, Just the bed of my little s-10 pickup and good ol' fashion hard work and will power.
Any tips for a guy just starting out? or should i just get out there and just start the back allies hunting some metal? :)

Welcome to the Forum, BendemiC.
Tip - Read old threads here. It'll help you avoid some mistakes others have made.

Lots of good stuff to read. The back alleys are a great place to start, but get permission if you find something. Many times it leads to them giving you even more stuff to scrap.

Welcome; there is plenty of talk on here in different threads about where to look for scrap. Figure out what you want to scrap. Some people do cars/trucks and auto parts, others do the copper/brass/alum. thing.
We're primarily doing e-scrap, but there is steel leftovers, alum. scrap some stainless also and that's just gravy.
