Has anyone tried to scrap circuit breakers yet? Just last night I picked up a few hundred of them, all shapes and sizes, and I've been told there is silver contacts in them..
Any thoughts?

Smash one and take a look. I myself have never done that yet. They may be worth more as is if they are useable.
+1 on what parrothead said. Those things can be pricey and someone could save some $$ and put some $$ in your pocket if you can resell them. They maybe tough to test since they need the right panel and put under a load to test but for things like that I will tell the buyer to give me a call if there are any problems and either give them a refund or another part.
Are they used? I am thinking that no electrician worth his salt will install used breakers. Especially if they are GFCI breakers. In fact I would rather buy a new one than use one of questionable origin. If they are in boxes, or generally in good condition, then I would use them.
