You think so Mrdew....This thing is so convoluted, it makes me feel sorry for the jurors. I didn't watch any coverage until this weekend, but I only watched the prosecutions closing arguments and taped the defense to watch tomorrow. So anxious for it to be over.
You could not pay me enough to be a juror for this trial....I have yet to see an expert say anything but "the prosecution presented a weak case." The outcome is certainly going to surprise a lot of people.

We have been watching this. I will save any comments for tomorrow when I have not been persuaded by the demon alcohol. :)
I am sick of it! All they broadcast is coverage of this case mean while we have our boys fighting wars over seas, getting killed everyday and they hardly make mention of it!
you're right Joe....that's what I like about Nancy Grace....she often recognizes our soldiers. Don't you think we have to have distractions ? I did like having regular reports like we did in Desert Storm, but I sure wouldn't want to a station devoted to it 24/7, would you ? I don't own a TV, but I love closing remarks...be it TV shows, movies, or books, so I went to my mothers to watch. But, I'll be glad when it's over too.
Press and the news is a joke. It is so inconsistant and filled with errors I just have to laugh or I start foaming at the mouth. I bounce around the different stations, local and national, so that I can try and figure out what is going on for myself and it is amazing how the facts and statistics differ from station to station on the same story. It seems that most news programs anymore are not news but just editorials.
After listening in today, I vote guilty. There is no doubt in my mind that she killed her little girl.
Final arguments just ended. Short recess and then jury will get their instructions. And, no I normally would not pay attention to this stuff, but wifey has been glued to the set for a month now.
Suprise, suprise. Defense just made a motion for a mistrial. Denied!

don't know if anyone else is watching the trial right now, but the verdict just came back. Found not guilty of murder, child abuse, and manslaughter. Found guilty of 4 counts of misleading a law enforcement officer. Without giving my own opinion about whether I thought she was guilty of any of those charges I'm in disbelief.
I have my own opinion, but opinions are just that. Just like OJ Simpson, she'll get caught at something - just a matter of time.
