Hi there, I create jewellery from recycled materials and have been given some fantastic piano strings. The copper wraps are fantastic but the steel cores make them to springy!!
I have seen a few videos & comments about unwinding the copper for scrap. Have any of you found a way of removing the steel and keep the copper wound up as these would make beautiful bracelets?
