Newbie

What's going on guys, I'm Bert. I'm new to scrapping but I hear that it's pretty lucrative if you know what you are doing and I have just got a 1990 gmc pickup that I want to use strictly for this. I have gotten a few items from offer up for free as well as Craigslist but I'm still learning what's worth my time and effort and what's not. Hi Bert! Welcome to the forum from Las Vegas! If you're interested in the lucrative part first and foremost my best recommendation is to find businesses that produce metal waste (electricians, machine shops, etc) and *buy* their metal. Started out with a pickup myself just a few years ago and now have a small fleet, a warehouse, three forklifts and a large and ever growing client base from Colorado to California.
