Returning to scrapping since early two-thousands..

I use to haul old cars full time around 2003 and get about 0.10/lb. I think it's 0.07/lb now or lower..

This and the scrap metal forum database are the only close-to-active virtual presence of scrappers and see, so I joined here..

I just call the yard to get rates for what they buy, though..

Welcome to the forum. There are lots of old threads available for education purposes. Since you have experience I don't have to tell you but others may be reading this, keep in mind that prices and costs have changed greatly over the years. Something to keep in mind while reading the old threads. 73, Mike

I THINK its closer to $0.03 - $0.05/lb ..... at least by me currently. But welcome!
